Kal Leski began dancing at their local studio in Colorado Springs at age 12 and immediately fell in love with dance. One tap class turned into years of training in contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, ballet, acro and modern, and at 19 they moved to NYC to dance at Marymount Manhattan College. With a passion for dance education, Kal started teaching while in college and graduated with their BA in Dance Teaching Techniques from MMC in 2016.

Rachel Binney is a tap dancer based in New York City. Rachel began dancing in Brewster, NY where she studied as a multidisciplinary dancer with Nicole Aravena. She took a special interest in tap dance, and sought further training at Steps on Broadway with Derick K Grant, and the American Tap Dance Foundation as part of the Tap City Youth Ensemble.

Olivia has been dancing for as long as she could walk and her love of dance has motivated her quest to continue to educate, empower and inspire her students, peers and collaborators across North America.
As a dancer and performer, Olivia has trained in all areas of concert and studio dance. She has received her RAD Advanced II certification, trained at advanced levels in hip-hop, tap, jazz & lyrical jazz, theatre, modern, and contemporary.

Canyon Carballosa is an autistic queer trans nonbinary movement maker. They grew up in a toxic environment that didn’t allow space for queerness, trans ness, or any other ness. Takiyah Nur Amin, MFA; Ph.D. is a dance scholar, educator, and consultant. Her research focuses on 20th-century American concert dance, African diaspora dance performance/aesthetics, and pedagogical issues in dance studies. She is a founding executive board member of the Collegium for African Diaspora Dance (CADD) and Vice President for Membership for the Dance Studies Association (DSA). Dr. Amin consults with institutional clients on curricular design, policy reform, and related issues in dance studies and related disciplines.
